Where do we go after death? This has got to be ranked in the top 2-3 questions of all time. It is the question that has been the catalyst that has triggered the emergence of myth, religion and, I would argue, scientific inquiry. And the list of answers has triggered volumes of written commentary: from ancient scratches and symbols on cave walls, to chiseled and molded figurines and statues, to sacred scrolls and manuscripts, and to heated debates, chats and comments in digital space. Some claim to know the answer outright, others claim we can never know until we cross the threshold from this realm into the next, and still others claim that the very idea of an afterlife should be abolished from the human thought process. The proverbial line in the sand on this question is absolutely agreed upon by all debating parties: we either go nowhere or somewhere.
